The Singapore Certified Energy Manager supports the Energy Conservation Act as the interface between the company and National Environment Agency (NEA).
The Energy Conservation Act mandates energy efficiency requirements and energy management practices to promote energy conservation, improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact, and to make consequential and related amendments to certain other written laws.
Introduction
This course is suitable for engineering personnel who want to discover relevant skills in the energy industry. Singapore Certified Energy Manager programme provides a thorough and comprehensive understanding of critical energy issues in the energy and building sector. It gives them a leg up and helps them accelerate their career.
Programme Objective
A competent energy professional has to be equipped and qualified to perform technical and managerial functions in the areas of:
- Energy audits, management and measurements
- Energy retrofitting services
- Financial advisor for energy efficiency measures and contracting
- Consultation and procurement services
- Facility and energy management
- Energy engineering works
Each individual undertakes 4 core modules and 2 elective modules, pass the respective examinations and acquire relevant working experience to qualify for the Singapore Certified Energy Manager certification. The course will also incorporate both classroom-style learning as well as hands-on exercises.
Upon completion of the course, participants will receive Singapore Certified Energy Manager certification from the SEAS.

Fees
Total course fees: $5,500 (before GST and any subsidy)
As of 2023, our SCEM Professional Programme is supported by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) Funding of up to 70% for Company-sponsored and Self-sponsored Individuals who are Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents.
